University of Newcastle

 

The Oral Health degree first started at the University of Newcastle in 2005 and 5 years later in 2010, the Graduate Diploma in Dental Therapy started.  However, in 2015 the degree and diploma were culminated into new degree of Oral Health Therapy. The degree runs out of the Ourimbah branch of UON, located on the central coast where we have a 16 chair teaching clinic and had our brand new simulation clinic open in 2015.

 

Our student society (University of Newcastle Oral Health Student Society - UNOHS) aims at being there not only to support and advocate for students, but to also bring a sense of community within the cohort. With events, study and fresh first years to welcome to flock; 2016 promises to be another busy year for UNOHS - so bring it on!
