RMIT University
RMIT University have a long standing reputation for quality training of Dental Assistants, Dental Technicians and Dental Prosthetists. This expanded in 2013 when RMIT incorporated the Advanced Diploma of Oral Health (Dental Hygiene) to their program list.
This program allows a pathway for students currently qualified with a Certificate IV Dental Assisting and a holding radiography licence, to undertake further training developing their skills and knowledge into a practitioner role.
RMIT University provides Dental Hygiene treatment to eligible patients at the student clinic in the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne, Dental Health Services Victoria Fitzroy Clinic and regional placements at Robinvale District Health Services.
The RMIT Allied Health Student Society is newly formed for 2016 and we are excited to have this society to represent dental students as well as the allied health student community at RMIT.
