La Trobe University

 

The La Trobe campus is located in the vibrant and diverse regional City of Greater Bendigo. La Trobe University offers both Dentistry and Oral Health degrees. The two courses focus on delivering the finest oral health services to the rural and regional areas of Victoria, as a result clinical placement are undertaken at locations such as Bendigo, Mildura, Melton and Wodonga, just to name a few. The small student numbers and the fact that many of our students live on campus or close by results in a very tightly knit cohort.

 

Bendigo Oral Health and Dentistry Society (BOHDS) was formed to represent the Dentistry and Oral Health students at La Trobe University. With the current membership at 350 students, BOHDS aims to represent and voice the concerns of the student body, to foster student participation, both socially and academically, to develop social consciousness and the promotion of good oral health in the community and to ensure the maintenance and development of best practice procedures to allow the delivery of sustainable events and programs.
