Are you passionate about rural health? Would like to take one step further in a leadership role within the NRHSN? Would you like to use your passion and NRHSN experience on a national level? If you answered yes/maybe for any of these questions - then a portfolio position is for you!
The five Portfolios on Council are the Medical, Nursing and Midwifery, Allied Health Portfolios representing the different disciplines of the NRHSN membership, an Indigenous Health Portfolio aimed at promoting Indigenous health awareness amongst members and the Community and Advocacy Portfolio designed to work on the advocacy activities of the Student Network.
ADSA would love to have a dentistry student be represented on the Allied Health portfolio, Indigenous Health portfolio and the Community and Advocacy portfolio!
The Portfolios work closely with NRHSN Executive team to ensure that the NRHSN is represented in a clear and consistent way nationally.

Submit your application to NRHSN 2013 Secretary, Jillian Ferrell at jillian@nrhsn.org.au and include the following:
1 page cover letter (include a bit about you, why you’re applying, you’re understanding of rural health advocacy and your role within a national student representative body and what you’d like to achieve with the portfolio while addressing the points outlined in the Position Description)
1 page CV
Applications close 5pm AEST 4th November 2013. NRHSN Council will then vote on these applications.
